What is included in the evaluation?
The evaluation includes full source code, all kernel features, all architecture support, the complete unit test suite, and documentation. The only restrictions are on commercial use and production deployment.
Can I use LightOS in open-source projects?
Contact us for open-source licensing options. We support certain open-source projects on a case-by-case basis.
What does “per project” mean?
A project is a single product line. Multiple versions of the same product (e.g., different SKUs) count as one project.
Do you offer academic discounts?
Yes. Contact us for academic and research institution pricing.
What safety certifications are available?
LightOS is designed for ISO 26262 ASIL-B. We provide documentation packages and can support your certification effort. Full ASIL-D support is on the roadmap.
Can I get a custom feature developed?
Yes. Enterprise licenses include custom development options. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
What architectures are supported?
ARM Cortex-R52, ARM Cortex-A53, RISC-V RV64GC, and RISC-V RV32IMC. Additional architectures available on request.
Is source code provided?
Yes, all licenses include full source code.
